About Cyprus Science University (CSU)

Cyprus Science University was established in 2013. The university, which has experienced a rapid growth process following its establishment, has started to accept students since 2014 and has become a recognized and preferred higher education institution in the TRNC, Turkey and abroad in a short time.

The university provides education in Turkish and English languages with its modern campus located in Kyrenia, close to the port and the city center, to its international students from the TRNC, Turkey and different countries with a modern education curriculum.

The name of the university, which was named British University of Nicosia in its establishment, was confused with the ‘Cyprus Nicosia University’ in Southern Cyprus and its effects on the processes; Inspired by the Great Leader Atatürk’s quote “The Truest Mentor in Life is Knowledge”, it was changed to Cyprus Science University in 2016.

The vast majority of academics working in the faculties and departments of Cyprus Science University consist of scientists who have completed their academic studies in domestic and foreign universities, and then have worked or are working in Turkey’s most well-known universities.

In addition to theoretical education, the university attaches great importance to practical studies, and the laboratories established for the needs of each department are open 24/7 for the benefit of our students. In this context, the Clinical Skills Laboratory, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Laboratories, First and Emergency Aid Laboratories, Optician and Anatomy Laboratories used by the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences and Vocational School of Health Services; The Mechatronics Laboratory, Electrical-Electronics Laboratory, Physics and Chemistry Laboratory, which are used by the students of the Faculty of Engineering, have been prepared to meet the educational needs, and these laboratories are being developed in parallel with the changing needs of the educational fields.

All of the classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with educational aids such as smart boards and projectors and offer ergonomic features to their students in terms of lighting and seating arrangement.

Cyprus Science University has completed its investments to meet all kinds of accommodation needs of its students with 5-Star Student Living spaces.
